Sea Scan Maritime Foundation offers a range of courses accredited by the Directorate General of Shipping, Government of India, and is certified under the ISO-9001:2015 Quality Management standard by DNV.

GP (General Purpose Rating) - 6 Months

Minimum Age: Between 17.5 to 25 yrs
Eligibility Criteria:
  1. Candidates should have completed their 10th standard with at least 40% marks in science, mathematics, and English from a recognized educational board.
Fees: Rs.2,25,000/-

CCMC (Certificate Course in Maritime Catering) - 6 months

Minimum Age: Between 17.5 to 25 yrs
Eligibility Criteria:
  1. Candidates must have passed their 10th standard in any stream, securing a minimum of 40% marks, with English as a mandatory subject, from a recognized board.
Fees: Rs.2,25,000/-

*Valid Passport Compulsory

BST (STCW Basic Safety Training) - 13 days

Eligibility Criteria:
  1. Xth Std Pass from a recognized Govt. Board
Fees: Rs.21,000/-

Security Training for Seafarers with Designated Security Duties (STSDSD): 2-Days Duration

Minimum Age: Between 17.5 to 25 years
Eligibility Criteria:
  1. Xth Std Pass from a recognized Govt. Board
Fees: Rs.7,000/-

Passenger Ship Familiarization (PSF): 2½ - Days Duration

Minimum Age: Between 17.5 to 25 years
Eligibility Criteria:
  1. Xth Std Pass from a recognized Govt. Board
Fees: Rs.6,200/-

Refresher Course

Minimum Age: Between 17.5 to 25 years
Eligibility Criteria:
  1. PST (Personal Survival Techniques)
  2. FPFF (Fire Prevention & Fire Fighting)
Fees: Rs.7,200/-

Refresher Training in FPFF (Fire Prevention & Fire Fighting)

Minimum Age: Between 17.5 to 25 years
Eligibility Criteria:
  1. Xth Std Pass from a recognized Govt. Board with subjects - English, Maths & Science.
Fees: Rs.7,000/-

Admission Eligibility and Criteria:

  • Duration of Pre-Sea Training Courses: All courses last for 6 months.

Eligibility for General Purpose (GP) Ratings:

  • Educational Requirement: Candidates should have completed their 10th standard with at least 40% marks in science, mathematics, and English from a recognized educational board.

Eligibility for Certificate Course in Maritime Catering (CCMC) Ratings:

  • Educational Requirement: Candidates must have passed their 10th standard in any stream, securing a minimum of 40% marks, with English as a mandatory subject, from a recognized board.

Age Criteria:

  • The age limit for candidates is set between 17.5 and 25 years.

Rules and Regulation

  • The standing rules and regulations of the academy shall be binding on all students. This may be revised without prior intimation.
  • The academy's code of conduct shall be strictly enforced, any deviation from the code or non-compliance would lead to strict disciplinary action/ dismissal
  • The use of tobacco, drugs and alcohol is strictly prohibited
  • Gold ornaments or other valuable items, the use of any kind of electrical/ electronic apparatus is not permitted on the campus
  • Candidates are not allowed to keep more than about Rs. 1000/- in cash with them. Excess cash should be deposited with the cashier and can be withdrawn in lots of Rs 1000/-
  • Candidates are not allowed to stay out of the campus at night under any circumstances. Parents are instructed not to make any request for the same.

Eligibility

Minimum age requirement: 18 years

The following documents are required for booking the courses

• Passport - original and 1 photocopy

• SSC/10th mark sheet OR passing certificate - original and 1 photocopy

• 35x35mm size photo in a white background - 1 hard copy + 1 soft copy in .jpg

INDOS fees of Rs. 1416/- is to be paid during admission by QR only

CDC fees of Rs. 1180 + 700 to be paid towards Seascan and DG fees

Exit exam fees of Rs. 375/- per course and Rs. 575/- for PSF Course for first attempt is included in the course fees

Completing the e-learning module is now a prerequisite for enrolling in the course.

Booking timings are from 0900 - 1300 and 1330 - 1600 only.

Fees are paid by QR code scanner only. No cash and card payments.
