Sea Scan Maritime Foundation (SSMF) is headed by Capt. Virendra J. Mehta, Managing Director and Chief Promoter of the company. An experienced Master Mariner, he leads a well-qualified team of maritime professionals who have provided quality education to aspiring students pursuing careers in shipping for over two decades.
The institution is recognized by the Director General of Shipping, Government of India. It conducts training in compliance with ISO 9001:2015 certification by DET NORSKE VERITAS.

Our maritime campus at Verna is spread amidst 20 acres of lush green surroundings and provides an environment designed to support academic learning, practical training and student development.
The academic block has a built-up area of approximately 4958.28 m² and infrastructure to accommodate 200 residential students and 150 day scholars.
